Choose Joy!
“ … This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” ~ Nehemiah 8:10 NIV -
Nothing pleases the enemy more than when we lose our joy because then we are weak and he can wreak havoc in every area of our life. But it doesn't have to be this way and we CAN be victorious.
God said so in His word. And greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world. You already have the power to overcome and it is up to you, to make wise choices.
Guard your eyes and ears so that you stay away from negative news and conversations. Refuse to give in and instead, focus on joyful matters. It is your divine right to do so.

There are those who need you and if you lose your bearings, you will be no earthly good to them or yourself.
It may surprise you to know that our circumstances don’t determine our feelings … rather our thoughts about the circumstances. And the good news is, you can control your thoughts! Were it not so, God would not have told us to take very thought captive.
