Does One To One Coach Training Really Make A Difference?

Striving to reach our God-given visions with confidence should be an exciting and exhilarating experience. And it can be if we have prepared ourselves properly. In today's article, award-winning Master Christian Life Coach, Jenny Grace Morris, will share insight about obtaining the needed skills.

The United States is filled with schools of higher education. In recent years several family members have considered where to go for the best education and filled out the necessary applications in hopes they would get into the college of their choice.

“The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the
ears of the wise seek it out.”
Proverbs 18:15 NIV

If all colleges held the same value, this wouldn’t make a difference. But schools don’t offer the same quality of education even if they offer similar programs. Christian life coach training is no different.

Guest Post by Jenny Grace Morris, MCLC

When I felt called to become a Christian Life Coach, I researched many programs and spoke with various schools. I was impressed with PCCCA because they actually trained their coaches through a system that both taught the knowledge of how to become a coach, as well as let the student experience firsthand the process of coaching though one to one training. This dual system generated immense benefits.

Since then, PCCCA has expanded and now includes the opportunity to take a coaching course through the use of technology online. I wondered if learning coaching through technology or learning it through one to one, where there exists a student-teacher relationship and the teacher has a genuine interest in the student’s career or ministry, had any significant effect on the success of a student. In my experience the answer is definitely yes.

I’m a lifelong student and earned my masters MCLC certification at the same prestigious Christian coaching and counseling academy. I also have been granted the privilege of training other students to become Christian life coaches through their one to one technique, known as Premier training.

Because PCCCA’s Masters certification (MCLC) is also one to one, it gave me the confidence and guidance to co-write, along with Dr. Bush, a certification course on the topic of relationships and communication, the Relationship Communication Specialist Certification, aka RCS.

My coaching practice continues to change and develop, the benefits of the one to one training I received, grow along with me. Now in addition to my coaching practice, I’m bringing the scriptures to life through Biblical storytelling.

My joy has always been to see people with Christly integrity succeed in their field of interest. Over the years, I have attended conferences with other coaches and followed some on social media. Those who have achieved and sustained a high level of excellence had one common background. They took one to one Christian Life Coach training at PCCCA, the Premier training.

I too had other options, such as another school or taking a tele-class. While these provisions are a necessity for some people because the cost may be less, the success achieved with personal attention is immeasurable.

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not
need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
2 Timothy 2:15 NKJV

Even though there are individuals who need little support to achieve God’s vision for their lives, the consensus from speaking with previous students is yes, one to one training was crucial to their ability to achieve certification and subsequent success.

Premier CCLC graduates discovered in the process, that partnering with a highly qualified Master Christian life coach during each of their 12 one-hour training sessions:

- personalized the course for them, coaching them to achieve their calling
- gave them needed encouragement
- further developed their own vision and skills
- held them accountable to take the next step
- uncovered previously unknown specialties in which they were uniquely qualified to
  work.
- and MUCH more!

Premier students also realized that coaching with a Master Christian life coach might otherwise have been cost-prohibitive, yet this opportunity gave them this extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime experience. And as a result, their lives were forever transformed as was mine.

You deserve the best training possible to fulfill God’s plan in your life. You owe it to God, to yourself and to your clients. You alone are charged with the responsibility for increasing your skill level because you can only rise as high as your skills will take you.

Decide today, to continually seek the highest level of training available, to make the most of your God-given talents. And with each success, remember to give God the glory.
